1.

What Data We Collect

When you visit Gridwarden, our web server automatically records standard technical information: your IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. These server logs are retained for up to 30 days and then permanently deleted. No account registration is required to browse the directory, so we collect no usernames or passwords.

2.

Voluntary Contact and Correspondence

If you choose to contact us — for example to suggest a game listing or report an error — we receive the information you include in your message, such as your email address and the content of your inquiry. This correspondence is kept for up to 12 months after the matter is closed and then securely erased. We use this information solely to respond to your request and to improve the accuracy of our listings.

3.

Cookies and Browser Storage

Gridwarden does not use analytical, advertising, or tracking cookies. The only item stored in your browser is your cookie-consent choice, saved via localStorage so that the consent banner does not reappear on every visit. You can withdraw or change this choice at any time by clicking 'Cookie settings' in the page footer, which reopens the consent banner. No personal data is written to that storage entry.

4.

How We Use Your Data

Server log data is used exclusively for maintaining site security and diagnosing technical problems. Contact information is used only to handle the specific inquiry you submitted. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5.

Data Security and Retention

Your data is stored on secured servers with access restricted to personnel who need it to operate the site. Server logs are purged automatically after 30 days; correspondence records are deleted after 12 months from case closure. Upon a verified deletion request, any remaining personal data is removed permanently.

6.

External Gaming Platforms

Each game listed in our directory links to an external platform where that game is actually hosted and played. Once you follow such a link, you leave Gridwarden and enter a third-party service governed entirely by that platform's own privacy policy and terms. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, data practices on those external platforms. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any external platform before playing.

7.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to any personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. You may also object to or request restriction of its processing. To exercise any of these rights, please use the contact details provided separately on this page. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable data-protection law.

8.

Policy Updates

We may update this Data Protection page when our practices change or when required by law. The revision date at the top of the page will reflect any changes. Continued use of Gridwarden after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
